NEW ORIGIN SERIES 4 SCOTTISH REGIONS, 4 UNIQUE FLAVOURS

NEXT TIME YOU TRAVEL, EXPLORE THE FLAVOURS OF SCOTLAND WITH THE JOHNNIE WALKER BLACK ORIGIN SERIES

You’ve started on your journey of discovery with Scotch. You know that there are layers of flavour in every bottle - and maybe you’ve started uncovering some of your favourites. But did you also know that a distillery’s location plays an important role in creating those flavours? Whether you have a preference for fruity flavours, sweet and creamy vanilla or deep-charred smoky notes, you’ll be drawn to whiskies from a particular part of Scotland.

Johnnie Walker is offering travellers the opportunity to explore the unique flavour profiles of Scotland’s four whisky-making regions: Speyside, the Highlands, the Lowlands and the islands off Scotland’s west coast.

Throughout our near 200-year history, we’ve prided ourselves on bringing together the finest whiskies from across Scotland. The Johnnie Walker Black Label Origin Series celebrates that sense of exploration, and that thirst to discover the best flavours that the four corners of Scotland has to offer.

It’s a new, limited-edition collection of four, 12-year-old blended Scotch whiskies, that include incredible single malts from some of the world’s most famous distilleries. The series has been created for inquisitive spirits who want to push their taste boundaries, and it is inspired by the huge array flavours found in the world’s best-selling premium Scotch whisky - Johnnie Walker Black Label.

As Johnnie Walker whisky specialist George Harper, the person responsible for the creation of the Origin Series, said: “These new whiskies give people the opportunity to delve deeper and sample the full range of flavours that go into making our classic whiskies”.

Each whisky in the series comes in a bespoke pack adorned with interesting facts and insights about the area of origin. It is the perfect jumping off point for adventurous travellers who are keen to discover more, and for those who seek a greater understanding of how our small team of whisky-makers craft and balance diverse and distinct flavour profiles to create remarkable, award-winning Scotch.

Discover the distinct flavour profiles of the four corners of Scotland with Johnnie Walker Black Label Origin Series. All four editions are exclusively available in airports globally, until a wider release in October 2019.
