This is an excellent resource if your facility is transitioning from the NDD to the IDDSI diet.

Facilities that transitioned to the IDDSI diet are following the framework diagram below. It is helpful to transition to the IDDSI framework to ensure standardized terminology and consistent communication among healthcare providers.
Please refer to Figure 5.1 for the IDDSI Framework diagram and Table 5.1 for further details on the IDDSI Framework. Both tables are a summary of the descriptions/characteristics and rationale from the IDDSI Detailed Definitions V2.0 document. Please check the IDDSI website for the most current updates.
