In the case of serious accidents stay calm, act quickly and make the patient comfortable and reassure them without worsening the condition until the arrival of a doctor or ambulance. A fatal accident results in the death of the patient.

Types of accidents Slips, trips and falls
Falls by slipping and tripping are by far the most common type of accident in the home. They account for 44% of all children’s accidents. Young children are likely to fall over and get knocks and bruises as they learn to walk, but serious accidents can be avoided.
