Could you provide an overview of DAOGroup and its position within the iGaming industry?

Glen Bullen is a veteran of the iGaming industry, gaining over 20 years’ experience in senior commercial roles. He has driven revenue growth and delivered new products across global markets for several of the sector’s leading operators, game suppliers, and platform providers. He is responsible for leading all sales and marketing activities at DAOGroup.
Our flagship solution, DAOWallet, has been designed to serve as an advanced cryptocurrency-fiat gateway that enables operators to offer third-party cryptocurrency transactions without the need for additional AML and compliance procedures. In its essence – this allows tier one operators to attract crypto players without any regulatory concerns that may come with its use.
Looking ahead, we have ambitious plans to establish ourselves as an industry-leading turnkey solutions provider of cryptocurrency and blockchain-based products – and we are working on some fantastic products, including our own blockchain-based platform and games.

What demographic of gambler typically transacts in cryptocurrency?
Dedicated users of crypto are typically millennials or slightly older – with the majority falling in the 25-45 age bracket. Although it risks being a generalisation; you can assume that the crypto user likely has a respectable income and is well acclimatised to technology, which means that they use crypto gambling for its benefits – especially when it comes to instant transactions and cashing-out.
We have seen a surge in crypto usage globally this year. Early adopters of crypto, such as Turkey, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, and the
Asian markets, have seen significant growth in usage. iGaming operators are now moving into these markets as they have earmarked its potential due to the player base already being well-versed and comfortable with the technology.
In line with that, I think we can expect to see the typical crypto gambler evolving into a more ‘mainstream’ type of player as time goes on – the benefits of using crypto for gambling are becoming far more well-known, as well as being far easier to access.
What is the motivation for players to transact with crypto for gambling?
Crypto transactions are instantaneous and secure, and players have the freedom to deposit funds in the currency of their choice. Offering cryptocurrency transactions to your players not only serves to overcome regional and demographic barriers, but also allows players in emerging markets with less developed financial infrastructure to get in on the action.
