Romania - Greentube partners Game World Greentube has further expanded its footprint in Romania after going live with local operator Game World.
The deal is part of Greentube’s existing partnership with Stanleybet, which operates the Game World Group brands in Romania. Game World has been running land-based casino activities in Romania since 1999 and operates the largest gambling hall in the country, Game World Bucharest Mall, where its extensive customer base is already familiar with NOVOMATIC’s land-based titles.
Greentube has significantly grown its presence in the country over the last few months after signing deals with several licensed operators including Baumbet and Mozzartbet.

South Africa - Kiron debuts with Jika Sports Kiron Interactive has become the first supplier to provide virtual content online in South Africa, after launching its Jika Sports portfolio with all major betting operators in the market.
First introduced with retail operators in September 2019, the Jika Sports brand, which offers localised versions of Kiron’s virtual football and horse racing products, will now be available for local players to enjoy online.

Georges Tranchant, President of France’s casino operator, Tranchant Group, died on Friday, June 5, at the age of 90.

Born June 23, 1929 in Château-Porcien, in the Ardennes, Georges Tranchant founded Groupe Tranchant in 1988 and opened his first two casinos in Amnéville and Dunkirk . Shortly after, Mr. Tranchant became the first importer of slots in France, an activity which he continued to develop thanks to his company, Cutting edge Gaming Technology, also opening up the marketing of gaming machines for casinos.

Landesmedienanstalt Saarland blocks online firms from advertising

Landesmedienanstalt Saarland (LMS), the media and gambling regulator for the German state of Saarland has taken steps to ban two online gaming operators licensed in Schleswig-Holstein from advertising in the state.
Te LMS became the first gaming supervisory authority to issue prohibitions against two providers of online casino games with a license from the state of Schleswig-Holstein on the basis of the applicable State Treaty on Gaming. Tese prohibit the two providers from
