Inspired previews Jaromir Jágr Virtual Hockey
Inspired Entertainment was launching its worldwide exclusive brand partnership with legendary hockey star Jaromir Jágr at G2E, which will be used for an upcoming Virtual Hockey game, as well as with casino, lottery sectors and digital variants
Jágr is one of the greatest professional hockey players of all time and is one of only 29 players in the Triple Gold Club, having won the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, the Olympic Ice Hockey tournament and the Stanley Cup.
He said: “I am very excited about this partnership and the opportunity to be the face of Inspired’s suite of hockey gaming products. I have been increasingly impressed with their creativity and innovation in using live action to establish themselves with leading edge technology in Virtual Sports. I’ve done almost everything imaginable on the ice in my hockey career so I can’t wait to see the breakout plays that Inspired puts together for Virtual Hockey.”
As well as Virtual Hockey, Inspired will launch a new slot game called Jágr Super Slot later this year with a penalty shoot-out game and a bingo game to be released in 2020. Brooks Pierce, President and Chief Operating Officer, said: “We are thrilled to announce Jaromir Jágr as the face of Inspired’s newest suite of games. With an impressively long and successful career, Jaromir is one of hockey’s greatest performers and personalities. Jaromir’s fans will appreciate the realistic quality of the action and imagery in all of the gaming products we are creating.”
Inspired has also recently signed an agreement with VEEPIO, the mobile technology arm of the NFL Alumni, whereby it will use the name, brand, image, persona and likenesses of the NFLA

“We are pleased to announce our partnership with the NFLA and VEEPIO,” said Mr. Pierce. “We have had great success since the introduction of our Virtual Football games but we expect this partnership to take it to the next level. VEEPIO allows us to produce the first-ever suite of entertainment products featuring the brands and images of the ‘Legends of Football’.
