Merkur Gaming proclaimed the G2E 2019 exhibition as its best Vegas showcase ever

At what has since been reported as the ‘biggest and best’ G2E to date, Merkur Gaming have stated that thanks mainly to the showing of a brand new Linked Progressive Jackpot and a range of new Bonus Feature game attractions, the show proved a record success for Merkur Gaming and for all of the Gauselmann Group companies that participated.

delivers a seamless sports betting experience across multiple channels. Te company also showcased its self-service betting solutions, including the IGT PlaySports kiosk, IGT PlaySports Pad, and the CrystalBetting Terminal. With sports betting now legal in the US and with IGT already powering the sports betting platform in 10 different states with 34 different customers, IGT is a dominant force in the sports betting space.

“We are delivering solutions for every size and scale of operation,” explained Mr. O'Shaughnessy. “Not everyone has the capital or real estate to open a fully-fledged sportsbook, which entails significant investment. IGT PlaySports bank and PlaySport pod delivers a sportsbook in a box - a turnkey box.”

Last year, IGT showcased its prototype Crystal Betting Terminal, a pure betting kiosk, which is now live at Pearl River Casino in Mississippi. IGT is currently powering the sports book at MGM with PlaySports technology, delivering an offering to accommodate any operator. “IGT PlaySports Bank and PlaySports Pod are designed to expand sports betting beyond the sportsbook. Tey provide our customers with creativity and control in designing their sports betting offerings while improving the player experience and reducing operating costs," said Enrico Drago, IGT PlayDigital Senior Vice President. “We are excited to add the PlaySports Bank and PlaySports Pod to our market-leading PlaySports portfolio as they offer a compelling way for our customers to benefit from new sports betting market opportunities.”

Seeking to build its sport betting offer to meet its casino offering, each year IGT is carefully lifting the turf and is meticulously taking the game to another level. While others seek to move the goalposts, IGT has moved the pitch into its own backyard.

Merkur Gaming’s Chief Executive, International, Athanasios ‘Sakis’ Isaakides demonstrates the new Treasure Link progressive on the booth in Las Vegas

Merkur Gaming’s focus at G2E was on a brand new linked Progressive Jackpot, Treasure Link, and the debut range of Bonus Feature games; Runnin’ Wild, Jewels of the Nile, Rapid Tunder, Striking Fortunes and Big Deal Wheel.

Treasure Link sits on its own range of five new games: African Glory, Dragon Marbles, Golden Silk, Joker Buffalo and Temple of the Nile. Tese new games feature a broad range of themes that provide a pathway to the Treasure Link jackpot itself.

Tis is a new concept that presents a free games bonus feature called Cash Games. Tis contains special features which serve as the player’s entry to search for Treasure Link’s high value Mini, Midi, Maxi, and the top value Mega Progressive Jackpots.

For the Bonus Feature games, the top prize award is always a fixed amount and, just as with Treasure Link, the game themes are as diverse as they are numerous: from the Wilds of Africa to the mysteries of Asia, tales of ancient Egypt, a quirky fun game in Joker Buffalo and the separate six games package that accompanies the excitement and attraction of Rapid Tunder.

With all of these new attractions being presented together at G2E it came as no surprise that, for all three show days, the Merkur Gaming booth was packed with customers and business partners, all keen to see and sample for themselves these latest gaming entertainment innovations.

Alongside these new product reveals were the latest cabinet releases: the Allegro+ with its 43” curved Ultra HD monitor and the similarly curved Avante+, featuring a rainbow LED solution and backlights behind all screens, plus the elegant, slim and shapely Slant Top Slim; highlighting its triple 27ins. full HD displays.

One area of the Merkur Gaming booth at G2E was given over to a stunning display of multi format electronic table games, featuring Roulette, Baccarat, Sic Bo and Craps. Cash handling experts GeWeTe were kept busy demonstrating their range of sports betting solution as well as presenting a new casino cash handling solution in the GeWeTe Cash Center Premium. With sports betting being a rapidly growing element of the gaming industry, the Gauselmann Group’s company Cashpoint, dedicated to presenting sports betting solutions for all regulated markets, was a hive of activity on the Merkur Gaming booth at G2E and reported high levels of interest from visitors.

Rounding out the show, Merkur Gaming’s Chief Executive, International, Athanasios ‘Sakis’ Isaakides, paid tribute to the event organisers and the entire Merkur Gaming team, saying: “Tis has been a really busy and, for us, highly productive event and certainly one of the best in recent memory. I want to thank our entire team for all their hard work and dedication: they brought our concept to reality and ensured that our overall results were truly exceptional.”
