Novomatic showed true artistry at the G2E show in Las Vegas with the debut of Samurai Beauty


A range of products for the US and neighbouring markets was met with eager customer interest and excellent footfall at the NOVOMATIC booth in Las Vegas. “Tis year’s G2E was really exceptional, maybe the best ever and I have heard that from all our sales teams as well,” said Jens Einhaus, VP of International Sales Europe & Americas. “We had excellent customer traffic on the NOVOMATIC booth – not only in terms of quantity but also in terms of quality – and a lot of specific interest from US and Latin American decision- makers. It makes me proud to see how we finally hit the target with our development focus for the US.”


Te graphical content of Novomatic’s games has soared in recent releases, with some of the most attractive titles in its portfolio on display at G2E. US-driven content with Asian Dragon Hot, based on the graphics of Asian Fortunes, but without the standalone progressive, sees the player treated to a different game ratio, as the RTP is driven from the base game rather than the jackpot. Included in this stylish artistic output is Dancing Lantern and Dancing Tiger, each with standalone progressives, which introduce two new Asian themed feature- driven titles.


Te games have been created by separate studios, one Austrian and the other US-based, but such is the collaboration and seamless integration of product development that it’s impossible to distinguish between the art styles.

A greater synergy has been established between NOVOMATIC’s game studios, with new blood injected into the product management side of the business. Behind the scenes, NOVOMATIC has been busy restructuring its games development teams, bringing to the fore its US-focused games, ensuring its US-based games studio is working in close collaboration with the company’s Austrian studios. Te results were clearly evident on the Vegas booth and feedback from customers at G2E was immediate and extremely positive. Te sheer number of links on display from Novomatic was an obvious sign of the shift towards much more US- centric products (links are an important niche product in Europe but represent 60+ per cent of the US market).
