Synot Targets the German Casino Market EMEA


Te SYNOT Group has signed an agreement with German distributor, E-Systems, to service the casino market across several European countries

FRANCE – A sixth gaming club opened in Paris last month with Club Berri, located at 11 rue de Berri (8th), close to the Champs-Elysees, opening as an intimate venue.


Covering just 300sq.m of floor space, eight tables are now available to players, as well as a bar reminiscent of the legendary Bellagio Las Vegas. The venue has said it 'would like to become a must- see Paris night address for gamers to enjoy a cocktail in the most intimate part of the capital.'


Located in the heart of the Parisian Golden Triangle, between the Champs-Elysées and the bustling rue de Ponthieu, in the former premises of the Cercle Gallion, the club has a cozy atmosphere and is intimate with a stylish decor.


The Berri Club will offer two punto banco tables, two 21 poker tables and three Ultimate poker tables, as well as a Texas Hold'em table for cash game games.


Patrick Delahaye, President of the Club Berri, said: "We are independent, we want to emphasise the meaning of hospitality and service. Above all, we want players to feel good."


The entry fee will be €15 or €150 for an annual subscription. The club will be open from 9 pm to 5 am, Tuesday to Saturday.


UK – SIS (Sports Information Services) has secured a two-year agreement with Argyll Entertainment to deliver its ground-breaking 24/7 Live Betting Channel, featuring live streams of international horse racing and British and Irish greyhound racing.


The 24/7 Mixed Racing Betting Channel is now live on Argyll’s SportNation.bet site and features live horse racing and greyhound action throughout the day from across six continents. Argyll Entertainment’s brands - including RedZone, GiveMeBet and SportNation.bet - will offer customers access to over 33,500 greyhound races per year, broadcast each week from the top UK and Irish tracks (from Monmore to Mullingar) alongside over 19,000 international horse races from over 80 of the world’s leading racecourses.


The channel will be delivered in a “Watch & Bet” format, providing around-the-clock frequent short- form betting events, which will help to optimise bettor engagement and dwell time, and drive betting revenues.

United Kingdom Senet Group publishes five point pledge


Te Senet Group, has pulled together 10 of the biggest betting groups in the UK, including Bet365, William Hill and Ladbrokes owner GVC, to sign up to 'the most comprehensive set of measures to support the UK Gambling Commission’s national strategy to reduce gambling harms.'


Te 10 companies have drawn up a five point pledge, which will be independently monitored and publicly reported on. Tese are to prevent underage gambling and protect young people, increase support for treatment of gambling harm, strengthen and expand codes of practice for advertising and marketing, protect and empower customers and to promote a culture of safer gambling.


Te Senet Group said the pledge will 'raise standards in the sector, supporting the UK Gambling Commission’s work to make services safer and fairer ensuring, in particular, that responsible gambling messages are put to


players with frequency and prominence.'


Peter Jackson, Chief Executive of Flutter Entertainment, which owns Paddy Power and Betfair, said: “Tese commitments are an important step forward for the sector in their own right and also signal a genuine desire to ensure that acting responsibly is at the heart of our businesses.”


One of the first actions is a four- year national program to educate young people, to be delivered by two charities, GamCare and the Young Gamers and Gamblers Education Trust, and funded by a £10m grant from the industry.


Te charities will work with young people, their families, and support workers to improve awareness and understanding of the risks associated with gambling. Te Senet Group is an independent body set up to promote responsible gambling standards and ensure that the marketing of gambling is socially responsible.

Jaar Loisirs, the new operating force behind the casino Amelie les Bains Palalda in the Hautes-Pyrenees region of France reopened the venue on November 9., 2019.


Joe Gimenez, General Manager of Jaar Loisirs, said it took six months for the new delegate, chosen by the municipality during the municipal council of May 7, to obtain the authorisation to operate.


Te casino closed on February 28, after the liquidation of the MGS company. On the strength of this new 15-year concession, Mr. Gimenez started renovating this summer. Te restaurant was renovated and reopened in mid-August. Te cinema, which is also part of the concession also resumes activities. Te casino will open every day from 2 pm to midnight, with an extra two hours on Friday and Saturday, with 40 slots and a blackjack table for traditional games.
