JCM brings CountR TITA
tables solution to market Te JCM Global booth was over-flowing with new products and new distribution deals with one of the head-line grabbing products being the game-changing CountR TITA table game solution on show
“JCM had an incredibly successful G2E, where we first displayed the CountR TITA technology to rave reviews from our customers,” said JCM SVP of Sales, Marketing & Operations Dave Kubajak. “CountR’s TITA system is a unique solution that utilises JCM’s technology and intellectual property, creating new buy-in methods for table games, increasing player convenience, and making table transactions more efficient.”
Te TITA system enables TITO transactions at the table game where a TITO ticket is issued to a player in exchange for their chips. For the operator, this reduces the number of table fills and drops per day, resulting in decreased table down time and increased hands per hour. For the player, this eliminates the need to stand in line to cash chips at the cashier’s cage and enhances their overall play experience. Players can redeem their TITO ticket at any redemption kiosk, or move freely from table games to slots or from slots to table games with their TITO ticket. Te TITA system accepts and accounts for both TITO tickets and TITO promotional vouchers.
Additionally, with the TITA system, operators can now support POS transactions at the table, giving players the ability to withdraw funds directly from their account without leaving the table. Tis increases player satisfaction and increases the overall efficiency of the casino operation.
Last month, JCM announced an agreement were JCM will distribute the TITA system throughout the Americas and the Asia Pacific region. It has also expanded on its long-term relationship with Eurocoin and will now bring Eurocoin printers to North America and Latin America for a wide range of commercial applications.
JCM Global’s David Kubajak
Mr. Kubajak added: “Our commercial partners in the Americas have expressed to us their need for a roll-style thermal printer that was more compact with greater flexibility to accommodate the variety of applications they use today.
“We listened, and we sought out the very best roll-style thermal printers available. We were delighted to find the perfect solution in the EP802 product line from our long-term partner Eurocoin. JCM will represent Eurocoin’s EP802- TMP and EP802 Termal Printers, each feature roll-feed paper that allows operators to print as much or as little information as needed for each individual transaction.
Te EP802 series of printers are highly reliable and intended for use in sports betting and gaming, as well as across a wide range of other applications. Te EP802-TMP comes complete with a presenter, and the EP802-TM is equipped with a smart bezel. Te presenter and smart bezel both ensure completely printed tickets on every transaction.
A deal with eConnect meanwhile is taking JCM into the world of enhanced casino surveillance and audit capabilities through real-time AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and SAR (Suspicious Activity Reporting) alerts.
JCM’s Fuzion has been integrated with eConnect’s facial recognition system to provide more visibility into suspicious cash and TITO transactions. Its peripheral management system captures images and keeps transaction records of each note and TITO ticket, front and back. Fuzion and eConnect communicate in real-time to track and match each transaction to the individual patron through iVIZION CIS imaging, casino surveillance, and facial recognition.
Mr. Kubajak added: “Tis latest integration with eConnect further demonstrates that Fuzion provides casinos with a level of technology and security enhancement that no one else can offer. Te Fuzion secure public API’s allow authorised third-party systems, like eConnect, to access unique, real-time transaction data that only Fuzion can provide.”
AMD extends Ryzen Embedded family
AMD was at G2E showing AMD Ryzen Embedded R1000 SoC to manufacturers in Las Vegas for the first time
Building upon the success of the Ryzen Embedded V1000 SoC, the AMD Ryzen Embedded R1000 SoC provides embedded customers with dual core, quad-threaded performance, as well as the ability to run fanless, low power solutions for 4K displays; while providing leading-edge security features. Te AMD Ryzen Embedded R1000 is perfect for applications in digital displays, high-performance edge computing, networking, thin clients and more.
Customers like Advantech, ASRock Industrial, IBASE, Netronome, Quixant and others are already working on Ryzen Embedded R1000-based products. As well, Atari is using the high- performance Vega 3 graphics and ‘Zen’ CPU
architecture in the AMD Ryzen Embedded R1000 SoC to power the upcoming Atari VCS game system.
“Te AMD Ryzen Embedded R1000 builds out the Ryzen Embedded family and provides a compelling option for customers that want access to the powerful ‘Zen’ and ‘Vega’ architecture and are looking for a highly competitive power/performance solution,” said Stephen Turnbull, Director of product management and business development, Embedded Solutions, AMD. “Te Ryzen Embedded R1000 can support rich multimedia environments for digital displays and casino gaming, enterprise class security features for edge computing, networking and thin clients, and, most importantly introduces a new class of performance while providing customers with software and hardware compatibility with the extended Ryzen Embedded family.”
