CT Gaming Biser Bozhanov, Director Business Strategy

What are some of the solutions that CT Gaming is looking at or has put in place to help protect casino staff and players during COVID?

Te unusual circumstances we are facing for almost a year have changed the business environment in the gaming industry. Te manufacturers have adapted to the new normal by offering solutions that are responding to the needs of the gaming halls and casinos. As for the casino properties safety is the main focus at the moment, we answer the need by offering our cabinets with acrylic partitions which provide a barrier between employees and customers without blocking their view of each other. Tus players have a clean and safe area to play which is effective enough.

What solutions is the company using to enable customers to maximise the performance of their venues, while getting people back into land based venues to play?

Te startling spread of Covid-19 has had an unprecedented impact on us all and yet it has boosted the development in new products and solutions. It has accelerated some preeminent trends in the gaming industry, predominantly driven by making the gaming experience even more immersive and exciting.

Striving to foster deeper audience engagement we have been focusing strongly in R&D to fortify and accelerate our business performance. R&D initiatives have always been a critical component of our company's strategy, but particularly now while COVID-19 is spiking we have increased significantly our investments.

We created new products for even more engaging experiences for the players, including new multigames, new jackpot concepts and many more. Our latest multigame Mega Jack 2020 has been installed in a multitude of gaming halls in Eastern Europe already.

Te successor of the legendary Mega Jack, which made a mark in the history of the gaming industry has 46 games and is designed to work

Do you think that Covid will change the design of CT Gaming cabinets long-term as a result due to changing player behaviour? If so, how will CT Gaming reflect that change? How is social distancing impacting CT Gaming’s hardware strategies overall?

In the past few years there has been a trend towards large-format machines that combine attention-grabbing size with a variety of games and cabinet styles. Due to the pandemic, this trend has persisted. Cabinets with bigger screens, bigger i-decks surfaced with glass for better hygiene are the new normal that allows customers to enjoy the games within the needed social distancing norm, avoiding close interactions with other customers.

Te larger format games are appealing because they capture attention, provide unique content, and infuse a certain excitement, especially for bonus feature events and they provide a better solution for the operators to keep up with the new health and safety measures.

CT Gaming has developed a next generation of cabinet which will be out soon. With two 27 or 32ins. UHD monitors and topper, with built-in i-deck, enlarged CMS panel and improved reliability. Te cabinet is designed to inherently carry greater visual impact and to engage and excite players by creating great experiences in a safe environment. By creating hardware where a players can be immersed in the full visual display field of a larger screen, they feel they are part of the game.
