Three Contenders told its Nagasaki or Bust
Nagasaki’s three Integrated Resort consortium bidders have been told they will not be allowed to bid for a licence in any other Japanese prefecture.
Vice-Governor Ken Hirata wants the project to be developed at the Huis Ten Bosch theme park in Sasebo city with an investment of between US$3.2-$4.2bn.

NORTH MARIANAS – Imperial Pacific International, operator of the Imperial Palace Resort in the the Northern Mariana Islands in Saipan, has been told to settle its debts of US$1.2m or be placed into receivership by the US District Court of the Northern Mariana Islands.
It will also have to place another US$800,000 into an escrow account to guarantee staff wages, and will have to pay back wages owed to workers. If it can’t achieve this, Joyce Tang of Civille & Tang will be 'vested with the power and authority to perform all acts deemed necessary to comply with this Order.' It will be able to 'take possession of the defendants’ property including all buildings, fixtures, improvements and appurtenances thereon, and personal and business property such as vehicles and equipment.'

Te company said: "Te Jeju Police revealed that they have identified certain suspected accomplices; arrest warrants for those suspected accomplices were issued by the Korean court and the wanted actions were also filed with and commenced by the International Criminal Police Organisation; three suspected accomplices were arrested so far; and approximately KRW 13.4bn (HK$95.5m) was seized by the Jeju Police, and are being kept in the deposit account of a bank under the name of Jeju Police. Te money is expected to be returned following the investigation.”
