We then had an MP come in and talk us through his job and responsibilities as an MP through this critical point of the Brexit motion.
Year 8 students have worked hard to do their best academically this year. Students have worked really hard in order to make the best progress possible. Below are the students who managed to get to the centre of The Target Board because they managed to get all gold on their report card progress celebrating with Pizza!
Overall it was an incredibly fun, interesting and engaging experience

YEAR 8 COUNCIL REPS This term saw the election of our year 8 council reps. Students were elected in tutor groups and then presented to the whole year group for the prestigious role of Head Year 8 Council Rep. Since election, pupils have had an influence on the way things are done in school and represented the year group in assemblies and elsewhere. Hopefully these students will take their leadership roles into year 9 and demonstrate an ability to lead and support.

Year 8 have been an absolutely awesome year group to work with. During my two years with you, I have seen you all grow and develop in so many ways. I remember many of you on your induction day, some of you crying and others of you bouncing into the hall declaring that the spelling of your name on your badge was incorrect!
