CCF (continued)
was great to see our new recruits making the most of this opportunity.
REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY
We were honoured to take part in this year’s Remembrance Service in Westbury town centre. Marking the 100th Anniversary since the end of World War 1. Due to capacity restrictions the Contingent was limited in the number of cadets that could attend therefore we aimed to provide a presence of 40 to give Remembrance.
The cadets maintaining their high standards were exceptional proving themselves outstanding ambassadors for the Contingent and the School. Sergeant Cannings was excellent as the Platoon Commander and the Contingent parading demonstrated incredible timing and pride. Lance Corporal Bradbeer and Cadet Glass layed ceremonial wreaths for the fallen on behalf of the CCF and Army Air Corps.
Once again our Contingent demonstrated exceptional standards and dedication during this Remembrance Service with many members of public commenting on how incredibly smart they looked on Parade.
SENIOR CADETS REPORT
This year we’ve had an amazing new intake of recruits, all of whom have shown incredible amounts of enthusiasm and dedication. So far the Contingent has exceeded expectations in every training night and weekends but most importantly in our spectacular turnout for the Remembrance Parade in which every cadet displayed a high level of drill ability that we were all proud of.
There are many events that we have to look forward to in the New Year and we are all very keen to continue to progress in our training.
