REGION: A closed curve divides the plane into two parts: the interior and the exterior. The interior, which is the place delimited (encircled) by it, is called a “region” or a “planar region”. The closed curve delimiting or encircling an area is called the “boundary”. In order to move out of the area’s interior, we must cross the boundary.

• To develop the child’s awareness of a variety of objects in his environment. • To develop the child’s ability to identify objects according to their shapes. • To develop a perception for differences and similarities in the shapes of objects. • To develop the childs aesthetically. • To provide the opportunities to construct shapes during creative activities.

• Identification and description of objects by observation. • Identification of objects by touching them. • Identification of objects through the observation of specific parts. • Perception of differences and similarities in the shapes of different objects. • Identification of functional relationships between shapes.
