Motor Vehicle (continued)


Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles This course enables you to specialise in a number of specific areas of the motor vehicle industry. This is a diagnostic course covering engines, transmission, electrical and electronic systems.


Entry requirements: IMI Level 2 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles or equivalent City & Guilds Level 2 qualification. Students with suitable trade experience will also be considered.


Possible next steps: Working in a garage, qualifying as an MOT Tester. This qualification can also lead to garage management and the Level 4 IMI Masters qualification.
