Level 2 Digital Office Skills in Administration (Diploma) This Level 2 qualification will enable you to develop essential office skills and a good understanding of work roles and responsibilities in today’s exciting digital office environment. The course will equip you with the skills to operate as an administrator or in a front-of-house position. To gain the Diploma at Level 2 you will complete a mixture of mandatory and optional units, including: web design, PowerPoint, desktop publishing, databases and spreadsheets. All IT units are delivered in the context of administration and customer service. English and maths are an additional part of your programme. You will be working in our specialized ‘Model Office’ and complete a range of assignments. Assessments will take place throughout the year. This is an industry recognized qualification that will prepare you for an administrative role or further education.


Entry requirements: Suitable level 1 qualifications, plus a College interview and assessment.


Possible next steps: Employment, level 3 business administration apprenticeship or other relevant level 3 programme.


Length of course (weeks): 34 Hours per week: Up to 15


Level 3 Diploma: Digital Administration This advanced-level course is suitable for people who wish to gain the essential, background knowledge and understanding of work roles and responsibilities in the business and administration sector. You will achieve a mixture of mandatory and optional units which will develop personal and interpersonal skills required to work effectively in a business environment. You will be required to work in a ‘Model Office’ and complete a range of admin online assessments and IT assignments. This combination provides high quality industry recognised qualifications.


This course is fundable through the 24+ Advanced Learner Loan, see page 12.


Entry requirements: Suitable Level 2 qualifications, College interview and assessment.
