ESOL: English for Academic Purposes This is a 6-hour per week evening course for adults at level 1/2. You will practise the reading, writing, speaking and listening skills you need to prepare for IELTS and university.


Entry requirements: College interview and assessment. Possible next steps: Higher Education. Length of course (weeks): 36 Hours per week: 6


ESOL: Functional Skills for ESOL This is a 6-hour per week evening course for adults at level 1/2. You will prepare for Functional Skills English exams as well as develop your language, grammar and vocabulary.


Entry requirements: College interview.


Possible next steps: Higher level vocational qualification / employment. Length of course (weeks): 36 Hours per week: 6

ESOL: Short Course This is an intensive short course for students at Entry level 1 and 2. You will practise reading, writing, speaking and listening and prepare for a Speaking and Listening exam when you are ready. You will also develop your employability skills.


Entry requirements: College interview.


Possible next steps: Employment / another ESOL course, volunteering. Length of course (weeks): 11 Hours per week: 12
