Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations This qualification helps you to develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to professionally design and install or inspect and test electrical installations. This comprises one mandatory unit: principles, practices and legislation for the final verification of electrical installations.
Entry requirements: This will suit you if you are a qualified electrician and have a great deal of technical skill and knowledge. You will work with minimum supervision and have a good record of safety, fault correction and ensuring work meets the required standard.
Possible next steps: Our qualifications can lead directly into employment, offering you the chance to develop your skills and knowledge to a high standard recognised by the industry.
Length of course (weeks): 10 Hours per week: 3
Level 3 Award in the Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations This qualification has been developed for practising electricians who have not carried out inspection and testing since qualifying or who require some update of training before progressing to other City & Guilds qualifications. This qualification comprises one mandatory unit: principles, practices and legislation for the periodic inspection, testing and condition reporting of electrical installations.
Entry requirements: This qualification is ideal if you are a qualified electrician and have a great deal of technical skill and knowledge. You will work with minimum supervision and have a good record of safety, fault correction and ensuring work meets the required standard.
Possible next steps: Our qualifications can lead directly into employment, offering learners the chance to develop their skills and knowledge to a high standard recognised by the industry.
