There is a black granite reception desk, with overhead task lighting from Anolis ArcSource 6 cool white units and the backdrop to the desk comprises 11 Robe StageQube LED panels and an LG LED monitor. Inside, the club has capacity for 400 guests and 80 dancers, and there are a number of different areas, spread across two floors. The impressive main bar area has eye-catching backlit liquor displays, an effect achieved with embedded Anolis ArkLink 3 RGBs. There is an inbuilt illuminated ice tray and LED-grazed stainless steel bar fronts - where the Anolis ArcLink Optics with the 6° lenses have an impressive result. The main stage area hosts a variety of live performances, including burlesque shows, aerial artists, dance troupes, illusionists and comedians. Here, a flexible concert style lighting rig has been installed with Robe intelligent lights - a mix of ROBIN 300 Plasma Spots, LEDWash 136 LTs, ColorMix 150 ATs and Scan 250 XTs. There are also Robe LEDBlinder 196LTs, a Robe Fog 100 FT smoke machine and a Jem AF1, strobes with colour changes, all fitted neatly into the space with a Rose Brand Austrian drape at the back. This is lit with 24 Anolis ArcLink Optic RGBs, each with 25 x 6° lenses. Robe’s Plasma Spots were selected for their colour rendering index of 94, which is ideal for producing flattering performer skin tones, and the 10,000 hour lamp life is also appealing to installed applications where ongoing running costs need to be considered. David designed the rig to be as high impact as possible, for the wide range of performances. Another consideration was being able to ‘compress’ the main stage area in an imaginative and subtle way, reducing the volume of the room for
