Jands’ award-winning range of Vista lighting and media control solutions, including the recently launched Vista v2 software were on display at the A.C. Entertainment Technologies Ltd stand. Vista v2 software gives all levels of user the ability to get the most from whatever technology is available - whether it be dimmers, moving lights, LED, or media. JBL launched the pilot program for its new Vertec V5 DSP presets that dramati- cally enhance Vertec system performance. Also new was the AW Series loud- speakers. While the HiQnet Performance Manager software, which has undergone an extensive beta test period in advance of its imminent shipping made its debut. L-Acoustics introduced its new ARCS II constant curvature line source. The bi- amplified ARCS II enclosure is based on a 2-way active design. It offers a number of improvements over the previous generation, primarily L-Acoustics’ K1 grade transducers for increased SPL (140dB) and lower weight (50kg). Lake introduced its brand new standalone system processor, the LM 44, a power- ful, full-featured digital audio processor based on the highly acclaimed LM 26. This marks another major step for the Lake brand under the stewardship of Sweden’s
Lab.gruppen.
Lab.gruppen showed its energy-efficient E Series with the an- nouncement of an innovative 1U power amplifier range developed specifically for the installation market. LSC exhibited its Clarity LX Series Control Range including the LX300, Lx600 and LX900 models. All run on the Clarity software, which now boast two years of success on a diverse range of shows. LumenRadio announced its support for Art-Net 3, the latest release of the public domain Ethernet protocol from Artistic Licence Engineering. As of PLASA 2011,

Art-Net 3 will be supported in all of LumenRadio’s Ethernet enabled products. MA Lighting promoted its new grandMA2 software release 2.4, which adds a multitude of new functionality, such as preview of cue values in all sheets and in the grandMA 3D software. The Source Four PAR EA CDM from Major by Lightpower is the reliable ETC prod- uct that is especially equipped with a CDM lamp. The product features low heat generation, reception for dichroic filters and colour changers and a 9,000 hour lifespan. It was on show for visitors at the Major stand. Martin Audio presented the DD6, an ultra-versatile and compact, multi-angled enclosure based on Differential Dispersion horn technology, and is the first in a new line of products that will eventually replace the classic Wavefront range. The custom-designed Differential Dispersion horn, developed using Martin Audio’s proprietary BEM tools, is the system’s greatest USP. Martin Professional showcased various new products at PLASA 2011. Amongst the highlights were the EC-10 LED display panel, the ultra-compact MAC 101 moving head wash, and the Stagebar 2 LED pixel bar. On the control side, Martin presented and the P3-200 system controller and the P3-PC for smaller Martin LED display setups. The DMX 5.3 Splitter and RDM 5.5 Splitter products were also available for demonstration. The star of the stand was the MAC Aura LED moving head that received an Award for Innovation. MC² announced that its highly anticipated E100 amplifier is now shipping following its preview product at 2011’s Prolight + Sound. The official launch marks a power- ful four-channel amplifier, but also the first 4 channel proprietary class-D switch- mode amplifier to be developed by MC².
