Midas launched the latest additions to its PRO Series of digital consoles, the Midas PRO2 and PRO2C live audio systems, The PRO2/PRO2C take the audio quality, performance and values of the top-end Midas XL8, and make them available at an accesible price. Also launched was the VeniceF-16R, a 16-channel rack mount variant of its new ‘digi-log’ ultra-compact mixing console, the VeniceF. Nexo brought its 45°N-12 line monitors to show at PLASA, plus a small selec- tion of its best-selling high-SPL cabinets like the PS15 and GEO S12 presented in white, for a change. But the story Nexo was keen to tell was of its success in large-scale public environments, particularly sports stadia. In the last year alone, Nexo has equipped more than a dozen football stadia in Europe and North Africa. Out Board previewed the iPad and iPhone apps developed to control the TiMax2 SoundHub mix matrix, playback server and audio showcontrol matrix. It also dem- onstrated the powerful new S-Version software features for the TiMax2 SoundHub and the revolutionary UWB TiMax Tracker radar system. Two of the most revolutionary products on display from Philips Selecon were


the PL1 and PL3 LED luminaires. These were showcased alongside the Philips Selecon PLTR2 RGBAW LED wash luminaires. Philips Strand Lighting featured its latest Vision.net touchscreen products, designed to bring exceptional control and flexibility to projects, while Philips Vari-Lite showed off new products including the VL440 Spot, VL770 Spot, VL880 Spot, and the new compact VLX3 Wash. In addition to its major presence on the A.C. Entertainment Technologies Ltd stand, Pixelrange showcased its new SmartRange of intelligent LED fixtures at the STLD-hosted LED Shoot Out, a central and unique feature of this year’s PLASA Show. PixelRange demonstrated three newly released lighting fixtures, QPar, PixelSmart and SmartLine 6. Pixled launched its brand new F-9 LED surface, which capitalises on the phenom- enal success of the fully flexible - bends both ways - Pixled F-6 surface that was launched at last year’s PLASA. Prolyte showcased the new H40R truss, a rectangular standard H40 truss with a very clever programme of specifications based on the H30V, H40V and S36R
