The ARCS II benefits from a design exploiting L-Acoustics’ Wavefront Sculpture Technology in a constant curvature line source solution. Intended for medium to large rental productions, it delivers remarkable power, bandwidth and coher- ence, along with flexible and predictable coverage. It also offers the audience an incomparable listening experience featuring clarity, precision and impact. The bi-amplified ARCS II enclosure is based on a 2-way active design. It offers a number of improvements over the previous generation, primarily L-Acoustics’ K1 grade transducers for increased SPL (140dB) and lower weight (50kg). An ARCS II line source can be deployed either horizontally or vertically, with a coverage angle proportional to the number of enclosures in the arra. On the other plane, vertical or horizontal respectively, the ARCS II line source provides an asymmetrical coverage angle of 60°. The orientation of the ARCS II enclosures within the array determines asymmetric distribution, allowing the use of a horizontal ARCS II line source either for upward or downward coverage. ARCS II can be quickly deployed as a tightly-packed FOH system for medium throw applications with high SPL, LF impact and excellent stereo imaging. Thanks to its precise and flexible coverage capability, other appli- cations include distributed system, centre cluster for theatrical work, sidefill monitoring, flown or stacked centre fill, stereo front fill, offstage fill or delay system for concert audiences in stadia and arenas.

The E Series comprises three two-channel power amplifiers, all incorporating
Lab.gruppen’s IDEEA technology. All are housed in 1U cabinets, weigh less than 5kg, and feature universal power supplies for operation anywhere in the world. Nominal output power ratings per channel (at four ohms or 70V) are 600W, 400W, and 200W for, respectively, the E 12:2, E 8:2, and E 4:2. E Series incorporates a number of brand new technological developments from
Lab.gruppen, including Rail Sensing Limiter (RSL), a two-position switch to allow selection of either Hi-Z (100V all models) or Lo-Z (40V – 69.3V model dependent) as output thresholds. A high headroom universal power supply allows for a higher storage capacity, thus preventing excessive draw on the mains inlet during repeated peak bursts and maintaining extra headroom on the rails for longer sustained maximum power output. E Series is Energy Star 2.1 compliant, the first ‘professional-grade’ amplifier capable of these output levels to be so certified. This is an important advantage for installations where energy efficiency standards are critical, such as government and local authority tenders.

Identical in many respects to the LM 26 Digital Audio Loudspeaker Processor, the LM 44 is distinguished primarily by a different input/output configuration. The LM 44 provides four analogue input and four analogue outputs, in contrast to the LM 26’s two in / six out. In addition, the LM 44 accommodates eight in / eight out AES3 and four in / eight out Dante digital audio transport. The LM 44 benefits from the latest implementation of Lake’s iconic Mesa EQ configuration, utilis- ing four Mesa modules, each with an independent input mixer and output signal processing chain. With this configura- tion, the LM 44 is ideally suited for a wider number of different FOH applications, including as a mix-matrix and full system EQ – sitting between a mixer and virtually any high-end performance loudspeaker system – switching between consoles on large events, inserted EQ for monitor systems, FOH to stage digital transmission, line driver for self-powered systems, and as a Dante break-in / break-out box. Additionally, LM 44 can be operated in contour mode configuration allowing for utilisation as a loudspeaker crossover processor, much like the intended operation of LM 26. Inputs that are not routed to the processing modules may be passed through to the output router. As with the LM 26, all three signal types – Dante, AES and analogue – are maintained simultaneously, with user-prioritised automatic failover and dual redundancy, elimi- nating single point of failure.
