And what’s more, it’s an industry that is growing fast, with employers keen to hear from young people like you with a positive attitude and the desire to succeed. To be frank, this industry needs your talent. As a result employers,
like those featured in our showcase section, will do their very best to support, develop and retain those people with talent. And they take young people seriously – just over a third of staff in the sector are under the age of 25. Meanwhile, you’ll also have the opportunity to progress fast. Many
operators offer apprenticeship schemes and training programmes that will provide the skills for swift career progression. We’ve spoken to students who are taking courses that will lead to positions in the hospitality industry, apprentices learning the ropes and young managers in the sector to discover how it is possible to forge a rewarding career.
