Interplay believes its latest brand expansions make 2012 one of its boldest launch years yet. The brand first launched in 2011
and this year a vast range extension sees the property more than double in size to include the new Dolly Mixture Bracelets, where girls will use pastel coloured clay compound to develop dolly mixture beads and charms in order to create individualised bracelets. Other jewellery and craft kits
such as Wire Craft Rings and Japanese Best Friend Dolls will also be available for 2012, complementing the DeLuxe Charm Bracelets and Clay Bead Jewellery. Another noteworthy addition to
the myStyle collection is the fabulous Japanese Friendship Card Kit, enabling girls to create and send greeting cards and invitations. Interplay’s Wild Science range
will see yet further additions, with Volcano Factory and Lip Balm Laboratory. For 2012, the Technokit range will see a fresh new development with the introduction of Tecknokit Rivetz. These new technology based kits teach boys how to use the patented Rivet Tool to snap and fix pieces together to create projects such as a dragon, a giant hornet or a racing car.

On show for the first time in the UK at Toy Fair is the Abney & Teal toy and gift collection from Rainbow Designs. The collection is based on the brand new Ragdoll show The Adventures of Abney & Teal which has premiered on CBeebies. The collection includes the Abney and Teal Rag Dolls, Abney and Teal Bean Dolls, a 24-piece puzzle and Mix and Match Cards. Also brand new to Rainbow is the Charlie and Lola
‘Lola loves...’ collection featuring soft toys and activity and craft toys for children aged pre-school and upwards. New products include Beanbag Dolls, Lola Rag Doll and Mix ‘n’ Match Doll. New activity and craft toys include Paint Your Own Door Hanger, Lola Paint Your Own Wooden Dolls, and Wooden Dominoes. Joining Rainbow’s Very Hungry Caterpillar collection
is a range of developmental rattles created especially for newborns and upwards. Featuring the Very Hungry Caterpillar, these new toys include the Attachable Ring, the Grabbable Rattle and the Squeaker Teether Stick Rattle along with the Soft Book. Also on show from Rainbow is the cute and cuddly
Wibbly Pig collection featuring Bean Toys, a Wibbly Pig with Blanket, Hand Puppets, Games and Puzzles and two cute Backpacks – one featuring Wibbly’s soft face and wiggly ears and the brand new plush Wibbly Pig Back Pack.
The Gruffalo range features craft and activity toys including the Make & Play Gruffalo Kit and the Paint & Play Gruffalo Set along with a host of outdoor wooden toys and games. Visitors to Rainbow’s stand can also see the Enormous Crocodile collection of plush toys and gifts along with the Stripy Horse, Elmer and Spot ranges of plush and wooden toys.
