Toy Collector will be showcasing its new catalogue-driven online marketplace for collectable toys and models. Launched six months ago and
powered by ToyPedia, the site’s database of toys and models, the Toy Collector Market combines the best of Amazon and eBay, with a specific eye on the collectable toy and model market and its needs. Manufacturers, retailers and individuals can use the site to sell and buy toys and models – new and old – reaching visitors to the site, who use its social networking tools, including the forums, blogs and galleries. Designed to have a simple and quick interface for selling, a vendor lists on Toy Collector by browsing to the item they want to sell in ToyPedia and clicking the sell button, creating a
jumping over and climbing onto opponents. However, a roll of a dice can force players to change direction or do battle with their opponents.
The second game called Go Global, is
a strategy game that helps young people develop a global understanding of business, language and culture. In the game, players must outsmart their opponents as they race to collect language cards and be the first home. However, events along the way may hinder or help their progress. The game has been developed by
young people and for young people to promote the benefits of learning languages. It has already been well received by schools and will be going into every secondary school in Wales in the first instance.
