Procedure: Mix components of A at 70°C. Mix components of B to 70°C. Add B to A and homogenise. Cool down while stirring. Dissolve niacinamide in water, add Natipide Eco and stir until a homogeneous solution is obtained. Add C to AB. Add D to ABC.
Properties Appearance: Yellow to slightly beige cream pH value: Approx. 6.5 Viscosity value: ˜2500 mPas (Anton Paar ViscoQC 300-R Sp 5/60 rpm/25°C)

Procedure: Add Phase A ingredients one at a time mixing with a dispersion blade until homogeneous after each addition. Begin heating to 65°C. To a separate vessel, add Phase B ingredients one at a time with mixing while heating to 70°C. Add Phase B to Phase A with mixing. Homogenise with Ultra Turrax for one minute at 10,000 rpm. Begin cooling while mixing with a dispersion blade. Once cooled to 40°C, add Phase C and continue mixing until homogenous. Properties Appearance: White fluid emulsion pH: 5.5–6.6 Viscosity(mPa•s)**** 2,500–4,500 Stability: Passed 5 F/T Cycles; passed 4 weeks at 50°C, 3 months at 40°C, RT, 4°C

Procedure: Add Phase B into water. Heat to 80°C, then add DS 112 before mixing for 20 minutes (if using cold process: then leave mixing for two hours). Once the DS 112 is mixed in ensure the temperature is below 40°C before adding the ST 118 and mixing for 30 minutes. Then premix Phase D before adding in. Add Phase E.
