What’s unique about Oddsgate’s offering?

Each one of our partners have an environment that was set up with all the configurations, in terms of payment methods, CRM, automation etc. We can bring to the player a journey that is really unique, because each market is specific and you need to adapt. We have an expression where we ‘tropicalise’ our technology for markets like Brazil, which is our biggest market. We are trying to leverage opportunities to extend the LTV of a player and try to make the player journey as frictionless as possible.

Many companies provide technology like we do, but not so many can give advice like we can in a way that really makes a difference.

You’ve published a white paper on artificial intelligence (AI) and how it will affect the playing experience by 2050. How do you think suppliers such as Oddsgate will have to respond to the changes AI will bring and how challenging will this be?

Customisation is going to be a very important part of that 25-year journey. AI is going to allow us to offer games that are much more customisable, so that’s something we have to be on top of.

Going back to the early 2000s, companies that were not prepared to offer omni-channel suffered because they couldn’t adapt. I think we are facing a moment like that again. Companies who do not adapt to Web3 will probably be irrelevant in less than 10 years.

Tiago Almeida, CEO of Oddsgate, has extensive experience in product development, leadership, and market strategy. He began in the industry in 2006, founded Sportingtech, and served as CEO (2017–2020). He created EGS Digital, advising major Brazilian operators such as Esportes da Sorte, Pixbet, Galerabet, and F12.BET, driving regional growth.

We need to show industry stakeholders that there are solutions, and we need to work with regulators, industry peers, laboratories and clients to create the best conditions for this technology.

Why should visitors come to the Oddsgate stand at SBC Summit?

We are going to showcase Connect. Connect is our new product which can help with integrated management of different things such as risk management. It can allow us to offer better betting limits than what the market is offering right now. Many of our clients are fighting for the same players, but most of the revenue comes from VIP players, and we want to give better insight into how to provide liquidity.

We will also be showing the latest developments of our platform in Brazil, as well as other markets where we operate.
