Exam Stress The exam season is upon us! This time of year can be particularly stressful for students and parents. It’s
important to remember that a change of behaviour during this time is perfectly normal and to be expected. Encouragement and support is the best way to reduce exam stress.
There is an guide to coping with exam stress available at Matravers reception and here are some top tips:
• Set realistic goals. Celebrate achieving these with small rewards. • Have a positive mind set. You might not understand everything YET! • Eat, sleep, revise, repeat. Have a set routine, but make sure exercise and social time is included. • Healthy body = healthy mind. A balanced diet and a lot of water is perfect. Avoid too much caffeine or any “energy drinks.”
• Have set working space away from distractions, this should be a desk or table. More tips are also available
