Calculators and geometry sets can be purchased at school by collecting a form from a member of the maths department.
KEY STAGE 3
Lots of our Year 7 students have been busy searching for clues across the school to solve the Easter Maths Treasure Hunt – 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes will be awarded during the last week of term 4. Happy hunting!
KEY STAGE 4
Year 11 - We are now in the final few weeks before the exams begin and all pupils should have begun their revision. The current Year 11 cohort have already been provided with Revision Guides and Workbooks; if your child has not received these please direct them to their Maths Teacher. The Revision Guides and Workbooks were distributed for both Foundations and Higher Tier students.
The Year 9 classes have been putting their shape knowledge to the test in order to win 1 of 2 big chocolate prizes. Good luck to all!
Recent assessments across KS3 have highlighted how successful and resilient our younger students are: a huge well done to all Year 7, 8 and 9.

There are many other excellent resources available to help with revision: remember that revision is all about practice! Each pupil will be receiving regular past papers to complete at home and in lessons but in addition to this, pupils should be using the PIXL app to practise those key skills that will help them secure the best grade for them. They can also find revision resources at
www.corbettmaths.com, bbcbitesize, kerboodle and mymaths. If you are unsure of your login for any of these sites then please ask your maths teacher. Please make sure that all pupils have a scientific calculator as this is essential for their success in the exams.
