FOOD PREPARATION AND NUTRITION


The A level students are busily working to complete their final piece of controlled assessment before Easter and their practical work has been stunning.


At GCSE the Year 11s have had a mock 3 hour practical exam where they have had to make 3 European products. They all did exceptionally well considering it was their first attempt at doing this. We are looking forward to seeing what they can do for the real thing in the last week of term 4.


Year 9s are completing food practical tasks each double lesson and this term we having been concentrating on pastry and raising agents.
