Peter William Cook

IT IS WITH great sadness that I have to announce the death of Mr Peter William Cook CPSA No 3088, who died on 12 July after a very short illness. I know he will be sadly missed by all of the shooting members of the Old Suffolk team, as he was well known and liked by all. He had won the UK Open (Skeet) and also shot for England.

Our condolences to his family and friends. M T Bagnell CPSA No 33340

Dave Mager

IT IS WITH THE greatest sadness I have to report the death of Lincolnshire DTL shooter, Dave Mager after a two year battle with cancer. Dave was an avid and competitive sportsman who set out always to succeed at his chosen sport. He had been around shooting all of his life but took up competitive clay shooting some 10 years ago and quickly made a name for himself on the DTL circuit. He was very pro-Lincolnshire and was immensely proud to be selected on many occasions to represent Lincolnshire in the county DTL team. Dave’s wife, Sue, always accompanied him acting as so many wives do as loyal supporter, coach and critic all at the same time and we send to her and son, Samuel, our love and condolences. We shall all miss him.
