ABU TV Song Festival – Adding Colours to Paradise Bali

he 5th ABU TV Song Festival took place on Saturday 22 October 2016 at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Centre. The host Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) in collaboration with Televisi Republik Indonesia (TVRI) successfully proposed a wonderful night with colourful performances to the delegates present.
This is not a competition but rather a celebration of popular music featuring high- profile musical talent from around the Asia-Pacific, brought together by member broadcasters. Thirteen artists from thirteen countries performed last night: Seeta Qasimie, ATN-Afghanistan; Mo Siman Sichuan, TV- China; Kayee Tam, TVB - Hong Kong; Novita Dewi, TVRI –Indonesia; Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. NHK-Japan; Ayree, Khabar Agency-Kazakhstan; Ailee ,KBS-Korea; Queena Tam, TDM-Macau; Laisha Junaid, PSM-Maldives; Shehara Liyanage, MTV-Sri Lanka; Nguyen Thi Pha Le, VTV- Vietnam; Lotfi Bouchnak, ASBU-Tunisia.
The one and half hour show was aired live on TVRI. The whole programme was recorded and made available to ABU members for broadcast.
