린 위로 판타지가 펼쳐지는 걸 보는 건 정말로 흥미로웠어요. 저는 암흑의 숲 의 기괴한 속임수에서 눈을 뗄 수가 없었는데, 예를 들면 나무들이 갑자기 무 시무시한 괴물로 변했죠. 여왕이 젊음과 아름다움을 유지하기 위해 무고한 사 람들을 고문하고 죽이는 걸 보면서 진정한 아름다움은 외면에서만이 아니라 내면에서 나온다는 교훈을 얻었어요. 예를 들어, 여왕은 외모로는 매력적이고 아름다웠지만 내면에는 못된 성질을 가지고 있고, 백설공주는 외적으로나 내 적으로 모두 아름다웠지요. 이 영화는 또한 백설공주가 사냥꾼인 에릭을 어떻 게 선뜻 믿게 되고, 난쟁이들이 백설공주를 돕는 걸 어떻게 받아들였는지 그 런 신뢰에 대한 부분도 좀 다루고 있어요. 제 솔직한 의견은, 이 영화는 제가 예상했던 것과는 상당히 달랐어요. 동화 를 비꼬았을 거라는 건 저도 예상했지만 전체 요지와 줄거리는 충격적이고 예상 밖이었어요. 액션의 공포스러우면서도 어두운 맛은 저에겐 폭탄과도 같았어요. 오해는 하지 마세요! 이건 사랑스러운 영화였는데, 제가 결정한 건 아니었어요. 제가 좋아하는 그런 영화는 정확히 아니었지만 저는 그런 독특 함과 독창성이 좋았어요. 복잡한 디테일과 독특하게 꼬인 줄거리 때문에 전 이 영화에 별 10개 중에서 8개를 줄 거예요. 그래요. 뭔가 다르고 어딘지 달 콤 쌉싸름한 걸 원하는 판타지 애호가들에게 저는 그래 도 이 영화를 추천할 거예요. 끝으로 저는 이 영화가 전 체적으로는 그래도 좋았지만, 탄성을 지를 만큼 좋은 건 아니었답니다.

I commend the author of this review on Snow White and the Huntsman because she understood the components of a great review—a creative lead, good transitions, reasoned opinions, and examples from the film to engage the readers. The author was successful in formulating her opinion and identifying the conventions of the genre of Snow White and the Huntsman. In her introductory paragraph of her review, she discusses her expectations for a good movie, ‘a happy fairytale with a slight twist’ and challenges the readers to experience this action-packed, classical romantic drama. The author’s observations and impressions of the main characters in the movie were clearly stated. She also identifies the common characteristics of the plot which is supported with details and imagery. She challenges the reader to imagine how the relationships of the characters relate to the movie’s theme. This review gives insight into the action scenes of the evil dark forest and the significance for the actions. The format was organized with a creative lead, brief summary, evaluation of character, plot, and setting, and a final recommendation.
