Professional Certificate in Hospitality and Catering
(NVQ level 2) Completion of this course will qualify you as a professional chef ready to take on any kitchen and begin a full career. You must complete all 14 units covering several aspects of the kitchen.
Entry requirements: Food Preparation and Cooking level 1 or equivalent, or relevant professional experience in cooking. You will also need to have a college interview.

Advanced Certificate in Hospitality and Catering
(NVQ level 3) This is an advanced professional cookery course designed for people who wish to further develop their culinary skills in the area of food preparation and cooking.
Entry requirements: Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience, Professional Cookery (NVQ level 2) or equivalent and a College interview.
Possible next steps: Foundation Degree in Hospitality.
Advanced Certificate in Hospitality and Catering – Leadership and Supervision
(NVQ level 3) This qualification is for people who work at a supervisory level or who aspire to work as supervisors within the hospitality and catering industry.
Entry requirements: Professional Cookery (NVQ level 2) or equivalent, employment or relevant experience. There is also a College interview.
Possible next steps: Foundation Degree in Hospitality Management.
