Our students succeed! You can too!

HCC Fashion student Ting Ting Meng is nearing her dream of becoming a top designer after being offered a place at the prestigious London College of Fashion. The Level 3 student, who

travelled alone at age 14 from China to the UK, also studied ESOL alongside her course.

Jackeline Ballesteros, achieved an A in A Level Spanish alongside gaining a distinction in the first year of the BTEC Level 3 in Travel and Tourism. She

hopes to go to university in 2012 to study Events Management with International Tourism after she completes her second year at HCC.

Chi Chun Wan gained three A Levels in Maths (A), Chemistry (B) and Biology (C). Chi explained that “the teaching and support from tutors was really great

and they gave me good guidance throughout my course.” Chi is hoping to study Biomedical Science at Queen Mary University.

HCC Sports student Ayende Jamal Lewis became one of the first in the UK to achieve the Advanced Apprenticeship
