Are you interested in music, media and art and design? Would you like to learn how to build your own tracks using music technology, make promotional videos and documentaries and create your own animation? You will do all this and more on the introductory diploma in Vocational Studies. This full-time Level 1 course offers you the opportunity of learning across a range of creative arts subjects as well as helping you to gain your functional skills in communication, and application of number.
Next steps: Progress to a Level 2 qualifi- cation, like a BteC First diploma, in music Technology, Media or Art and Design.

This is an exciting, practical course that will give you experience in a variety of media subjects and prepare you for a range of careers in media including production or editing. You will work with video and radio as well as learning web authoring and scriptwriting skills.

This course is aimed at those who want to develop strong skills in audio and sound and who wish to work in broadcasting. Students will be able to work with radio professionals and produce scripts, factual or music programmes as part of the course.
This demanding course gives you the opportunity to develop skills in radio, music and production of commercials as well as sound for film and television and interview and presentation techniques. if you enjoy working in creative teams and have the ability to succeed under pressure, this is the course for you.
Next steps: Continue onto a higher level or employment or university for example a degree in Broadcasting or one in sound or audio technique.
Entry requirements: You need a minimum of four gCses at a-C or BteC First Diploma or equivalent Level 2 qualification at merit average, with english at C or above at gCse.
