Fees Information

Higher Education

For higher education courses, for example Higher National Certificates, no reduction in fees is available. Those on low incomes may apply for a grant from Student Finance england, see www.direct. gov.uk.

We do, however, offer a non-means tested bursary of £300 to students with good levels of attendance who continue through the second semester of their course..

paYment options

There are a few options for how you pay your fees:

• We accept most major credit cards, cash or cheques (made payable to South Thames College Corporation).

• instalments – if your course goes on for two terms or longer and the fee is greater than £400, you may pay in two instalments. the first 50% must be paid at enrolment and the second 50% must be collected by direct debit. This does not apply to full cost courses.

• prompt payment discount – You will be entitled to a discount of 10% if you complete your enrolment and pay your fees in full by the 5th of september for courses starting in the first term, or by 19 December for courses starting in the second term. This does not apply to full cost courses.
