LEVEL: entrY 1 to leVel 2 (Beginners to adVanCed)


DURATION: From 2 to 15 hrs per Week, on a Full or part-time Basis

this is an english course for second language speakers who plan to live in the uk permanently. it covers english for life in the uk, study skills, english for employment, it skills, citizenship and numeracy skills.


Entry requirements: There are no formal entry requirements, we will invite you for an interview and a placement test to help us find the right class for you.

ESOL with Other Subjects


We also offer subject specific esol courses with a vocational focus. These are esol courses with esol exams at the end of them i.e. english courses that are taught to meet students’ needs and interests within a particular subject area, and which have clear progression pathways within the College. They may act as a bridge to mainstream courses.

ESOL Additional Support


You may qualify for esol additional support, which means you follow a mainstream course and have access to either in-class support or drop in workshop sessions. This is usually available to full-time second language speakers who are enrolled on a mainstream course and are not paying fees. Learners need to complete a Learner Support Request Form to access the service.
