Phoenix, AZ, Lodge hosted a dinner for 16 veterans, two family members, and five staff members from the Arizona State Veteran Home.


Banning-Beaumont, CA, Lodge members provided dinner at the lodge for ten veterans from the Loma Linda VA medical facility.


Calpine, CA, Lodge held a Veterans Lunch and provided lunch for 42 veterans and senior citizens. In other news, lodge members visited Eastern Plumas Health Care and gave handmade quilts to seven veterans being treated there.


Culver City, CA, Lodge members and ladies auxiliary members gave Christmas gift bags to 100 veterans at the Los Angeles VA medical facility. Each bag contained toiletries, playing cards, candy, and other small gifts.

Knows No Holiday Program, provided food aid to several dozen needy veterans and helped one veteran find employment.


Gardena, CA, Lodge members visited the Long Beach VA medical facility, provided lunch for 32 veterans, and called bingo games. Lodge members provided a total of $500 in cash prizes for the winners of the games. Lodge members also donated a large amount of clothing, blankets, games, books, and puzzles to the facility to be given to veterans.


Paramount, CA, Lodge members visited the Long Beach VA medical facility and gave gift bags to 250 veterans. The bags were handmade by lodge members and Paramount High School students and were filled with toiletries, playing cards, socks, writing materials, and other small gifts.


Pittsburg, CA, Lodge held a Veterans Dinner and hosted a meal for 47 members of the local VFW, American Legion, and Disabled American Veterans posts. During the dinner, the


Lakewood, CO, Lodge held a Christ- mas Eve Party for 50 veterans and their families. The veterans, who were from the Denver VA medical facility’s nursing home, enjoyed dinner and musical entertainment, and each veteran was given a lap blanket. Lodge members were assisted by members of the Jefferson High School Key Club and by Santa Claus, who gave each veteran several small gifts.


San Luis Obispo, CA, Lodge donated a trailer load of items, including hats, hand-knitted scarves, blankets, toiletries, reading material, clothes, and shoes, to the Fresno VA medical facility’s Geriatric Extended Care Unit. The total value of the donated items was nearly $20,000. Lodge members also visited the 60 veterans being treated at the unit and gave each of them a sweat suit, a goody bag, and a Christmas card.


Fullerton, CA, Lodge members visited the Long Beach VA medical facility and gave 50 veterans a meal and called bingo games. Lodge members also gave the veterans clothing. Pic- tured is lodge member Michael Spratt assist- ing US Marine Corps veteran Frank Rodriquez with his bingo card.
