Cedar Grove, NJ, Lodge donated $100 to scout Sean Romeo, of Boy Scout Troop No. 65, to help him refurbish several benches at the Morgan Farm and Museum. Pictured on one of the refurbished benches is Romeo.


In other news, the lodge held a Christmas Party for 64 children and adults with special needs and


provided them with lunch, dessert, and the opportunity to visit Santa, who gave each partygoer a goody bag.


In more news, lodge members distributed thesauruses to nearly 160 third-grade students in three elementary schools.


Hamilton, NJ, Lodge held a Children’s Christmas Party for 100 children, including 25 children with special needs. The party featured lunch, live musical entertainment, and entertainment by costumed characters, including Santa and Mrs. Claus. After lunch, each child visited Santa and received a gift from him. Winona, MN, Lodge made a donation of more than 470 pounds of food and more than $460 in cash to the local food bank.


Arcadia Valley (Arcadia), MO, Lodge members distributed dictionaries to 74 third-grade students at Arcadia Valley and Lesterville Elementary Schools. Lodge members also gave new coats to 85 students in the Arcadia Valley school system.


Howell, NJ, Lodge donated $150 worth of toys to Acelero Learning of Monmouth/Middlesex County, which provides Head Start preschool programs for more than 1,200 needy families. Pictured with PER Michael Pasnick are (from left) Acelero staff members Ruth Cruz, Angela Saigal, and Kasie Thomas.


In other news, the lodge held its annual Holiday Party for more than 80 children with special needs and their parents. The party featured lunch, a sing-along, and an appearance by Santa, who gave each child a gift.


Owatonna, MN, Lodge, with the help of a $2,000 ENF Promise Grant, held a Holiday Dinner for 185 children who participate in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program. Lodge members also gave each of the children a gift card.

Rochester, MN, Lodge held a Dinner for 80 members of military families. The approximately 50 children in attendance visited Santa and Mrs. Claus, who gave each of them a toy. The toys were donated by a local store


Cameron, MO, Lodge members delivered a holiday dinner to more than 200 people who were unable to leave their homes.


Excelsior Springs, MO, Lodge donated $1,000 to help purchase Christmas presents for children at the Watkins Mill Park Camp, which is a school for juvenile offenders.


Grandview-Hickman Mills, MO, Lodge members delivered Christmas food boxes to 65 needy families. Each family received a basket containing enough food for a full Christmas dinner and groceries for another week.
