Sussex, NJ, Lodge held a Breakfast with Santa, which was attended by ten children with special needs, their siblings, and their parents. A total of 89 people attended the party. Partygoers were served breakfast, and each child visited Santa, who gave each child a goody bag filled with small toys and other gifts. Fairbury, NE, Lodge Crippled Children’s Fund donated $1,000 to the Henson family to help them fly to Las Vegas to seek specialized treatment for their seven-year-old daughter, Riley, who has Williams Syndrome, a genetic disorder.


Each box also contained toiletries, cleaning supplies, and toys or clothing for the families’ children.


In other news, the lodge donated the use of its grounds to ReDiscover to hold its annual Christmas Luncheon. ReDiscover is a charity that assists people with mental health issues.


Greenview, MO, Lodge donated $1,500 to the new lodge-sponsored Cub Scout pack—Cub Scout Pack No. 130—to help purchase uniforms and hand- books for the scouts.


In other news, the lodge donated a bilingual learning rug to the local Head Start Program. The brightly colored rug displays the numbers 1 to 20 and the names of the primary colors in English and Spanish.


Louisiana, MO, Lodge held its annual Trimble Fund Shopping Night and took 300 needy children shopping for clothing at a retail store.


Meramec (Arnold), MO, Lodge members delivered Christmas food baskets to 74 families. Each family received a basket containing at least two weeks’ worth of food and toiletries and presents for their children. In other news, lodge members

Colonie, NY, Lodge members attended a Court of Honor Ceremony for new Eagle Scout Joseph Rynasko, of Boy Scout Troop No. 279, and presented him with a certificate. For his Eagle Scout Project, Rynasko cleared underbrush and built an informational kiosk at a boat launch on the Mohawk River. In other news, the lodge held its 40th annual Firefighters Recognition Dinner, honored 12 Firefighters of the Year, and gave each honoree a plaque. Lodge members also gave one firefighter an award recognizing forty years of service and hosted a meal for the more than 400 firefighters and guests who attended the event.

Hastings, NE, Lodge held its annual Children’s Christmas Party, which is open to the community. The more than 25 children who attended were provided with crafts and had an opportunity to visit Santa. In other news, lodge members, accompanied by Santa, delivered gifts to 80 needy children.
