Birmingham, AL, Lodge held its annual Veterans Dinner, provided a meal for 120 veterans, and gave each veteran a goody bag.
Apache Junction, AZ, Lodge hosted a Christmas Party for 22 veterans from a Phoenix VA substance abuse treatment facility. Lodge members hosted the veterans at a meal and provided horseshoe and darts games. The lodge also donated two basket- balls, two volleyballs, and several Frisbees to the facility.
Green Valley, AZ, Lodge members placed 46 flags along a local highway on Pearl Harbor Day to commemorate the US troops who lost their lives in the surprise attack.
Lake Havasu City, AZ, Lodge mem- bers gave Christmas gifts worth a total of more than $12,000 to veterans at the Bob Stump VA Medical Center in Prescott. Among the gifts were sweatshirts, T-shirts, phone cards, lap blankets, toiletries, games, and books.

Sun City, AZ, Lodge held a Pearl Harbor Day Dinner-Dance to mark the anniversary of the attacks on Pearl Harbor. During the event, lodge members honored Pearl Harbor survivor Hal Woolsey. In other news, the lodge held a USO-style variety show. Among the more than 400 people who attended the show were 35 veterans from the Arizona State Veteran Home in Phoenix and two local housing facilities for homeless veterans.
In more news, the lodge donated appliances for 75 new housing units being opened at US VETS Victory Place, which is a housing facility for homeless veterans. The lodge donated a coffeemaker, a crock pot, and a toaster for each new housing unit. The lodge also donated more than 200 blankets to The Crossroads, which assists homeless people, including veterans, at five locations in the Phoenix area. In addition, lodge members gave haircuts to 30 veterans at MANA House, a housing facility for homeless veterans.
