The slimnose is ideal for making cuts in tight material, shapes such as J-Channel, and new extended blade tips reach all the way into corners. A full cutting length makes straight shearing with the Malco Andy™ Snip fast and easy. Enhanced blade edges are precision ground and surface finished for smooth cutting in all types of applications. The wider, thicker loops are 1/2” longer for added comfort and provide up to 10% more input leverage.

Hardened alloy steel blades offer maximum cutting edge life. Su- perior material flow and lower profile allows maximum maneuver- ability. Fast adjusting, long life pivot bolt and nylon locking nut with pressure washer holds desired adjustment even for repetitive use in heavy gauge metal.

Comfortable ergonomic handle design maximizes natural power stroke range of an average size hand and allows a more efficient full length cut. Multi-operational latch is accessible from right, left or top and is friendly to right or left hand users.

AVIATION SNIPS

Blades are hot drop-forged of moly alloy steel and scientifically heat- treated to provide a strong, longer

lasting cutting edge. Forged blades are superior to investment cast blades and stamped blades are a minimum requirement of U.S. Government Specifications and ANSI/ASME Standards. Blades are serrated an optimum 40 serrations per inch to grip material being cut without making large “teeth marks” on cut edge of mate- rial. Full length cut from pinch-to-point per cutting stroke meeting all ANSI/ASME Compression Test Standards. These snips will cut up to 18 gauge cold rolled sheet steel.
