PACKAGED OIL FIRED BOILERS - STEAM

The Starfire III steam boiler offers improved efficiency and reliability. These packaged oil fired, cast iron boilers come with a Beckett burner pre-mounted and are available with, or without an optional tankless water heater. These boilers feature a re-designed heat exchanger with a patent-pending protective heat shield baffle delivering efficiencies up to 82% A.F.U.E. Standard equipment supplied with the packaged boiler includes electronic low water cut-off, relief valve, water level gauge, pressure gauge, pressure control, primary control, burner elec- tric disconnect, wiring harness, drain cock & Beckett AFG burner with clean-cut pump. Another service highlight is a pre-threaded outlet for periodic skimming of the boiler, contributing to trouble-free operation & extended lifetime. All hot water coils have 1/2” tappings. Comfort plus Extended Service Agreements are available for Utica boilers.

SW Series ON HEAT EXCHANGER

The SW Series wet based, direct vent oil boiler offers efficiency, comfort and reliability. Available in two sizes, with heating inputs of 91,000 and 140,000 BTU/h and an AFUE rat- ing of 86%, the SW provides exceptional performance with low operating costs. The direct venting feature allows installation flexibility, making the SW the ideal choice for residen- tial applications whenever oil is the fuel of choice. The SW is constructed with a cast iron heat exchanger and cast iron push nipples, providing excellent heat transfer, stronger water tight seals and maximum strength and reliability. Supplied with 10’ of double wall insula- tion stainless steel flexible vent pipe and a one piece termination kit. The concentric pipe configuration accommodates both pipes through one hole reducing the amount and size of openings to the structure.

The cast iron swing door allows quick and easy inspection of the oil burner and combustion area. In addition, wider flueways allow easier installation and maintenance of the SW. The SW is designed with redundant seals - fiberglass rope and silicone form an air tight seal to prevent leaks. A manual safety disconnect prevents accidental burner firing when the swing door is open. Pressure switch insures ad- equate combustion air in all cases. Pre-purge establishes air flow before ignition. Post-purge expels exhaust from the combustion cham- ber and vent pipe. An oil line solenoid prevents afterburn from occurring. Optional tankless water heat coil on SW-4 model produces hot water for domestic use. Standard equipment includes cast iron boiler, flush jacket, swing-out burner door, clean cut AFG Beckett oil bur- nere, traget wall/liner, circulator, ASME relief valve, theraltimeter gauge, drain cock, wiring harness, high limit and circulator control, primary control/burner relay. For tankless heater units tankless hot water coil and high/low limit control. Additional standard equipment on SW: pre & post purge control, oil-line solenoid, vent termination kit (includes 10’ stainless steel double wall insulated flex pipe, and concentric termination. Comfort Plus Extended Service Agreements are available for Utica Boilers.
