FLEXIBLE GAS PIPING SYSTEM

The innovative Gastite® sys- tem represents a new concept in flexible gas interior and exterior piping. Utilizing semi- rigid stainless steel corrugated tubing, the Gastite® system eliminates the time-consuming

process of conventional cut and threaded steel pipe. Creating in- stead an efficient, integrated piping system which is safe, economi- cal and easy to install.

The Gastite® flexible gas piping system has been tested in accor- dance with the American National Standard for Fuel Gas Systems Using Corrugated Stainless Steel Tubing, ANSI/AGA LC-1. This standard and the Canadian equivalent CGA No. LAB-009, list performance requirements for certification of CSST systems for use with all recognized fuel gases, including Natural Gas and Propane, up to 5-PSI operating pressure. It is an ideal choice for new construction, rehabilitation or retrofit installations. Available in 3/8” thru 2” sizes to suit the needs of most residential and light commercial applications. In many applications, the tubing is sized for individual gas appliance loads and is, therefore, usually small in diameter. The tubing may also be installed in a parallel fashion from a central distribution manifold rather than a series layout commonly used for rigid pipe systems. Corrugated Stainless Steel Tubing is pulled through the structure similar in fashion to flexible electrical conduit. A wide selection of components -- manifolds, fittings, regulators and protection devices -- allows a piping system to be custom tailored to each installation.

Note: The integrity of the Gastite® piping system requires that the manufacturer’s instructions for design and installation be followed implicitly for each application.
