The unique RIELLO 40 Series oil burner uses state of the art electronic controls and other innovative design features to produce a completely integrated burner package for reliable, fuel efficient heat generation with low maintenance and operating costs. The design of the RIELLO burner allows it to overcome positive pres- sures in the combustion chamber, and the precision of the air/fuel mixing system produces higher flame temperatures, permitting nozzle down sizing for fuel savings. The completely electronic control system includes ignition transformer, 10-second pre-purge cycle, 5-second safety lock-out and other advanced features. A unique air shutter, requiring no adjustment, automatically closes during burner off-cycles to prevent standby losses, and returns to a fixed open position upon burner operation. A special low power consumption motor is utilized, with bearings requiring no main- tenance. A metal cover, fitted with acoustic insulation protects the burner from dust and dirt and provides quiet operation. Available in several models the RIELLO 40 oil burner Series can produce heat outputs ranging from 70,000 to 896,000 BTU. All models are 120v AC. Order burner chassis according to firing rate; order air tube as- sembly separately according to length requirement of application.

NEWLY INSTALLED NOZZLES CLOGGING?
We often hear from customers advising us that a certain brand, or type of nozzle clogged almost immediately after being installed. Even more inexcusable, the nozzles clogged even though the oil filter cartridge, and the pump strainer were changed before the nozzle was changed.
Inexcusable? Maybe not... when the tank valve was shut off, the fuel filter opened, the cartridge replaced, the pump housing opened and the strainer replaced, particu- lates were being loosened in the lines especially between the filter cartridge and the nozzle. These particulates move thru the piping and pump passageways and wind up in the nozzle. The slots in the nozzle are only a few thousanths of an inch in diameter and the particulates quickly clog the slots.
Tip... After installing the filter cartridge and cleaning/ replacing the pump screen, RUN some clear oil thru the lines before installing the nozzle.
