Neilson Academy Programmes
We work closely with our partners UKSA to fund a Yachtmaster and water sports academy. This initiative helps to remove some of the financial barriers facing individuals wanting to break into the industry. These highly subsidised courses run from 9-12 weeks and can take you from little or no experience to a fully qualified instructor, opening the doors to those that might not have otherwise had the opportunity. Upon completion, we guarantee a job at one of our exciting destinations.

Talent & Management Progression
We actively seek to develop and promote our staff from within, enabling individuals to transform the seasonal lifestyle into a career for life. Former chalet hosts are now in charge of our largest hotels, and ex-windsurfing instructors are now the masterminds behind the development of our most prominent products. We are focused on talent
development and offer two development programmes: ‘Jump Up’ and a more senior level called ‘Jump Higher’. All staff are invited to outline their ambitions, and throughout the season a dedicated talent team visits the resort to develop individual action plans. Both programmes provide a fantastic opportunity for us to develop a homegrown future management team.
