“My role sits within the key account management team. We are a small but mighty team based in our newly refurbished office on the Strand in London. We manage the distribution of a 37,000-plus portfolio of hotels to approximately 500 agencies throughout the UK and Ireland. With a diverse range of travel agents to manage, no two days are the same, whether it be securing new hotel deals, addressing customer service issues, communicating a new exciting development or hosting educational trips. This role continues to challenge me on a daily basis, which keeps me motivated to deliver for our agents. During my time here at Youtravel, I’ve been fortunate enough to visit many places, including Dubai, Greece, Montenegro and Egypt – and best of all, my company pays for this, as it’s my job!”
