A successful CV will clearly outline relevant work experience, qualifications, skills and extracurricular activities, as well as anything else relevant to the job you’re applying for. “Consider what makes you stand out
from the competition, including grades, relevant work experience, travel, etc,” says Jose Cofone at travel recruitment company Domex Recruitment. Read the job description carefully, and
if the travel company asks for specific skills or experience, make sure these
are clearly conveyed in your CV. “CVs should be about two A4 pages
long and clearly laid out with their qualifications and current/previous work experience,” says Claire Muge. “If they do have work experience then
they should include dates, companies, job titles and the key duties and any achievements in these roles.” Your cover letter or other application
forms will give you the freedom to explain some of the points in your CV in more detail and expand on your skills.
